Our Mission and Goals

Our mission and goal at the Highland PTO is to help students and their families have a wonderful experience at Highland Elementary by supplementing the academic programs. We have a lot planned for this year, and we look forward to working with you to make our events and activities fun for the entire Highland family.

What You Can Do

The Highland PTO needs both financial support and/or volunteers. You can do this by supporting our fundraisers and by sponsoring the PTO.  We ask for $10 a year per family.  If you can volunteer please let us know. Two hours per parent per year can make a big difference

What Your Support Enables

PTO dues and funds raised support many activities and programs for students, their families, teachers and staff including:

• Class Trips
• School Assemblies
• Briar Bush Acorn Program
• Highland’s Field Day
• Family Fun Nights
• Highland Spring Fling
• Science Fair and Science Day
• Care and Share Thanksgiving Food Drive
• Adopt-a-Family Holiday Toy Drive
• Teacher and Staff Appreciation
• and, much, much more!

Finally, communication is important. We need your participation, input and suggestions. If you have any questions or concerns, please come to our meetings or contact a member of the executive board.
